How to choose type of the yacht for charter? |
Depending on the budget, first decision is whether to take bigger or smaller yacht,
sailing or motor, crewed or bareboat.
After that, we will send you our detailed offers according to your preferences
and help you decide what yacht to take

What is the booking procedure? |
After you selected the yacht and checked the availability with us, we put the
option on the particular yacht for several days, until your final decision.
If you do not respond in agreed time, the option is cancelled.
If you confirm the charter, we will send you the contract and the invoice.
The contract should be signed and returned to us. Before the charter period, you will be
asked to send us the information for the crew list

How and when do I make payment? |
After the charter is confirmed, the contract signed and returned to us,
you make the down payment of 50% of the rental price, to our bank account.
The balance payment must be done at least 4 weeks prior to the charter period.

What is included and not included in charter price? |
OThis depends on the type of the yacht and the type of the charter (bareboat or crewed), so please read details about this on our web page www.lu

What are the charter schedules? |
Most charters start on Saturday from 17:00 and finish also on Saturday untill 9:00.
We recommend returning to base Friday night, to avoid unexpected weather conditions or similar,
to have time to fill in the gas tank and do the check out procedure on time.

Embark and disembark from different base? |
It is possible but depends also on the next charter embarkation base.
In case of changing the base, there are some additional expenses according to distance and fuel consumption.

What if we arrive at the embarkation base late? |
If you are late to re-delivery the yacht, please contact the base manager as soon as possible and follow his/her instructions.

What is the difference between crewed and bareboat charter? |
Mega yachts and gulets are crewed, but motor and sailing yachts as well as catamarans can be chartered bareboat.
The privilege of crewed charter is the total absence of any worries and the complete relax, because everything is in the crew's hands.
Fully crewed private yachts offer private vacations with customized personal attention to each charter guest, high level of personal service,
discretion and security. A chef dedicated solely to pleasing you prepares customized menus.
Each yacht comes with a selection of entertainment media, recreational and watersports equipment.
A bareboat charter offers the charter guest the opportunity to enjoy the adventure of self navigating.
On a bareboat charter the charter guest is responsible for all aspects of running the yacht, sailing, navigating, anchoring, provisioning, cooking, cleaning and having fun.

What is APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance)? |
APA is the amount that must be paid beside the yacht price, when chartering mega yachts.
It includes all the guest expenses during the charter, such as: meals, drinks, fuel, marina and berthing taxes, resident taxes etc.
The APA is from 25-30% of the rental price. The captain is responsible for the costs and, at the end of the charter, the unused funds will be returned to the guest.
In case the APA amount is not sufficient, the Captain will inform you about the settle of the additional costs.

What about security deposit? |
DThe amount of security deposit depends on the type of the yacht and must be left in base in cash or with the credit card.
The full amount is refundable, unless the damage on the yacht is found upon the return.

What licences do I need to navigate a yacht? |
You must be in posses of a valid licence or certificate of competence issued by Maritime
authorities and accepted by Croatian coast guard, as well as VHF licence.
|

About skippers? |
If you don't have a license for navigation, we will provide the professional skipper for your charter.
Skipper costs vary from 120-150 eur per day and you are also obliged to provide food and drink for skipper.
Skipper is responsibile for navigation, safety and yacht. It is not skipper's duty to clean and cook.
It is strongly advised to respect the skipper's instructions during the carter, for your safety.

About routes/itineraries? |
You can create your own route but our team can also assist you in making the itinerary, according to your wishes.
When taking crewed charter, you can make the itinerary with the captain or the skipper. Please note that approximately 4 hours of cruising per day is the norm.

Parking place in marina? |
If you are coming by car, you can leave it in marina according to their price list.
|

What kind of services do you offer beside the charter? |
We can provide any service you demand, such as hotel reservations, assist in vissa issue, special transfers,
special deliveries, personal requests and service etc.

What kind of documents do I need? |
You must have your passport and, the guests from some countries, also must have visa.
Please note that issuing of visa may take some time, so it must be secured in advance of the charter period. We will assist you in visa process.

Smoking on the yacht? |
Please note that it is not permitted to smoke inside of the yachts. But on the most of the yachts, you can smoke on the decks.
|

Crewed charter and guest privacy? |
All of the crew members on the yachts are very professional and discreet.
They are also very helpful and reliable, so your privacy as well as your comfort, safety and entertainment are guaranteed.

| 19. |
What should we bring with us? |
Yacht charter, bareboat or crewed, is nothing but leisure and relax, so there is no dress code to obey.
Beside your personal things, it is important to bring: your documents, some extra clothes in case of bad weather, sun towels, deck shoes, sun lotions, sun cap and glasses.
In case you forget something, you can always buy it in Croatia.
